Traveling up The East River, as Ixion crew aboard Aladdin a Moody 46 Sailboat, begin the final leg of their journey to Newport, Rhode Island After several exciting days exploring New York City, the journey continues as we travel up the East River and out of the city towards Long Island Sound. The crew gets to experience the city from a perspective so rarely seen by travelers. As the crew exits the East River, the wind fills in and everyone sets in for the remainder of the passage. After a smooth night of sailing, everyone returns safely to Rhode Island. Jake joins the crew and have a mini sit down interview with Captain Tom, our humble host, to get a little bit of wisdom from someone who has been sailing for 40+ years.
